Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Zetacut (the "Service"), available at zetacut.io and operated by Zetapixels Media, trading as Zetacut, India ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. The Service

Zetacut is an AI video-editing tool. You upload video and other material, and the Service uses AI models to design and render an edited video (an "Export"), which you can revise and download.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and give accurate account information. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.

3. Plans, credits and payment

• The Service is offered as a free plan, paid subscriptions and one-time credit packs, as described on our pricing page.
• Exports use credits according to the chosen editing style (Crisp, Kinetic or Cinematic). Credits are deducted when you export. Monthly subscription credits reset each billing period and don't roll over; purchased top-up credits don't expire while your account is active.
• Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Where we use another merchant of record (such as Lemon Squeezy), that provider's buyer terms apply to the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
• We may change prices with at least 14 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

4. Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

5. Your content

• You keep all rights to the videos, images, logos and other material you upload ("Your Content") and to your Exports.
• You give us a limited licence to store, process and transform Your Content only to provide the Service to you (for example: transcription, separating the speaker from the background, generating graphics, rendering).
• We don't use Your Content to train AI models.
• You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload, and that every person who appears in or is heard in Your Content has agreed to it being edited and published, including with AI-generated backgrounds or effects.

6. AI-generated output

Exports are produced with the help of AI models and may contain errors. The Service is designed to only show names, numbers, dates and quotes taken from your clip, your prompt or your uploads, but you're responsible for reviewing every Export before you publish it. Where a platform or law requires AI-generated content to be labelled, you're responsible for labelling it; the Service provides an optional "AI-generated" label.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

• upload content you don't have the rights to, or infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights;
• impersonate a real person or create misleading content presented as real (deepfakes), or depict anyone without their consent;
• create sexual content involving minors, sexually explicit content, hate, harassment, threats or content promoting violence or illegal activity;
• create spam, scams or deceptive advertising;
• reverse-engineer, scrape, overload or resell the Service, or get around usage limits.

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

8. Copyright complaints

If you believe content processed through the Service infringes your rights, email hello@zetacut.io with the material concerned, your contact details and a statement that you're the rights holder or authorised to act for them. We'll respond promptly.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the Service, we'll give reasonable notice and refund unused prepaid amounts on a pro-rata basis.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

11. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. Sections 5, 6, 10 and 12 survive termination.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
