Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Zetapixels Media, trading as Zetacut, India ("we", "us"), collects when you use zetacut.io and the Zetacut app, why, and your choices. Contact: hello@zetacut.io.

What we collect

• Account data: name, email address and sign-in details (for example from Google sign-in).
• Your content: videos, audio, images, logos and prompts you upload, plus what we derive from them to edit your video: transcripts, speaker cut-outs and edit plans.
• Billing data: payments are processed by our merchant of record (Paddle, or Lemon Squeezy). They collect your payment details; we receive only your plan, purchase history, country and a customer ID, never your full card number.
• Usage data: pages and features used, device and browser type, error logs, used to keep the Service working and improve it.

How we use it

• To provide the Service: transcribe your clip, design and render your edit, store your projects and exports.
• To bill you, provide support and send service emails (for example "your export is ready", receipts).
• To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.
• To improve the product using aggregated usage data.

We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use your videos to train AI models.

Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of it to providing services to us:

• AI model providers (Anthropic, Google) to transcribe, design edits and generate images or music. Their API terms don't permit training on our customers' data.
• Cloud hosting, processing and storage (for example Amazon Web Services, Modal, Supabase, Vercel).
• Payments (Paddle, Lemon Squeezy, Razorpay), email delivery, error tracking and analytics.

Your data may be processed in countries other than yours, including the United States, Australia and India, with appropriate safeguards.

Retention

Uploaded source videos and working files are kept while your project exists and deleted within 30 days after you delete the project or your account. Exports stay available in your account until you delete them. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to or restrict certain processing. Most of this can be done in your account; for anything else, email hello@zetacut.io. We respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, and privacy-friendly analytics to understand how the site is used. We don't use advertising cookies.

Children

The Service isn't for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to what's needed to run the Service.

We'll post updates here and email you about significant changes.
